Why not bring the kids out to Sydney's newest Golf Course, The Ridge, these holidays.

We have a Come and Try Day* on Tuesday 13 October from 2 - 3pm. For just $15 each child receives group tuition and free club and ball hire.

There's also a three day golf camp* on 14 – 16 October.

The Ridge Golf Course

The Ridge Golf Course, located at Barden Ridge, opened its first nine holes on Saturday 30 May 2009.

The nine-hole championship standard course is owned by Sutherland Shire Council. A further nine holes are under development now and a new purpose-built clubhouse is also proposed for the Ridge Sports Complex.

Temporary facilities are in place housing a golf pro shop and starters area.

The course features a state-of-the-art on-course watering system with a newly constructed 46 megalitre dam, making it environmentally self-sustainable.

The course is now open 7 days a week.

General Public - call 9541 4960 to book your first tee off time.
Social Clubs - due to the amount of interest, social club bookings are being taken until 31 December 2009 – one booking per club - call 9541 4960 to discuss availability.

Note: Hours subject to daylight and weather conditions.

The course and driving range are closed Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

The Ridge Golf Driving Range

The Ridge Golf Driving Range opened to the public in December 2003 and is considered one of the most state-of-the-art golfing venues in Sydney.

It features 52 floodlight bays over two tiers with individual bays incorporating quality mats, club/drink holders and seating.

The Ridge caters for all levels of golfing enthusiasts!

Club hire (per club):

Driver - $5.00

Golf club demo nights

The biggest brands in the golf industry regularly visit The Ridge Golf Driving Range, giving you the opportunity to try out all the latest gear. There is no obligation to buy, all you need do is purchase a bucket of balls at the office and then have a swing.

Demo nights are usually held on Wednesday evenings. Contact the office on 02 9541 4960 to find out what brands are coming up.

Sutherland Shire Golf Academy

The Sutherland Shire Golf Academy provides first class golf tuition services to clients of all ages and skill level at the GDR. Head Coaches Kurt Stegbauer and Gary Booby are AAA Accredited and currently have several innovative programs for all levels of golf development.
