Annual Community Arts Grants

Sutherland Shire Council is commited to act as a catalyst in the development of cultural services and programs for Sutherland Shire residents and makes funds available under its Community Arts Grants Program to local non-profit community groups for music, performing arts, visual arts, craft and other local cultural initiatives.

Innovative projects that contribute to the cultural development of the Sutherland Shire are encouraged.

All applications require an official completed Community Arts Grants application form. We recommend that the guidelines are read through carefully.

Community Arts Grants Application forms and Guidelines are available from the Cultural Planning and Events Unit of council when the funding round is open. Each funding round is advertised in the St. George and Sutherland Shire Leader and on council's website, or you can be put on our Arts Grants mailing list by contacting our office.

2010 Community Arts Grants are now open. This funding round closes at 4pm, Friday 2 October 2009. Late applications will not be accepted.
